Grey Float Glass is formed when molten glass is mixed with an appropriate amount of pigment, flows from a furnace, and forms while floating on a molten tin bath – hence called “Float Glass”.
Grey-tinted glass is characterized by its low light transmission and good control of solar heat and glare.
Normally, it is used to restrict or reduce light and for decorative applications. It helps prevent the fading of furnishings, carpeting, clothing, etc. It is suitable for commercial and home use, adding a level of privacy.
